Rainy Day Fun
I made this card for an online challenge at the Copic Creations site. I have been wanting to color this image in the new Magnolia collection for a bit, but was looking for the right paper as a starting point. The paper is from my stash and is by Heidi Grace Designs. The challenge for this one was "blonde hair." I went a little darker with the hair, (it scanned darker than in real life) but I think it turned out nice! Of course it is colored with Copic markers. I also used the Cuttlebug "Spots and Dots" embossing folder.
Colors Used:
Hair: Y23, YR23, E35
Coat: RV32, RV34; YG00, YG01, YG03
Boots: YG00, YG01, YG03
Umbrella: BG000, BG01, BG02
Umbrella Trim: YG01
Umbrella Handle: C1, C3
Face: E0000, E000, E00
Puddle/Raindrops: BG10, BG11

Wow I just found your blog and have spent the last hour or so (don't tell the boss) going through your cards. I am so in love with Magnolias, Sugar Nellie, Sarah Kay etc. and am just learning to use my copics to my satisfaction. I love your kitties, I have one tiger stripped, named Tiger Lily Jones and believe me she rules the roost. I would love a small dog or another kitten, but my husband says no cause it would upset Miss Tiger Lily! She doesn't tolerate anything with four legs nor most people she doesn't know, but is so lovey with us. She has catattitude! Keep up the good work and I am glad I have found your blog. Hugs, Beda Stoner
ReplyDeleteWhat great colors you used for your Tilda, and the DP is perfect with it. You did a wonderful job coloring her. Thanks for joining our Copic Challenge.
