Hugs Sand Kisses

This card includes two of the new Summer Stamp Releases from Hambo Stamps. This little boy is adorable! The sentiment is so fun too...This reminds me a bit of my brother from years ago when we used to go to the Outer Banks and play in the sand. Time flies... Our sand creations never looked this cool, but we sure had a great time!

The paper is from Flair Designs, Inc. and is from their Seaside Collection. I used the Large and Small Nestabilities Label dies. The hardware window die is from Quik-Cuts (I think). Dew drops and some ribbon from Stampin' Up complete the look.

Copic Colors Used:
Sand Castle: E41, E42, E43
Flag: BV000, BV01, BV11
Shovel: BG10, BG11, BG13
Shirt: YR12, YR14
Hair: YR20, YR21, YR23; E35
Skin: E0000, E000, E00
Sand: E41 (Airbrushed)

Perfect.

The sentiment on the hardware says it all. Perfect. What I wouldn't give to be sitting on a lounge chair under one of those umbrellas at the Outer Banks....sigh.

The image is one of the new Summer Designs from Hambo Stamps. They have some really fun new stamps available. Wait until you see some of the sentiments that they have to go along with them! I love their quirky sense of humor...

The patterned paper is from my stash. I used the Cuttlebug Spots and Dots Embossing folder. The ribbon, dew drops, and metal charm are from my stash.

"Shell-O-Brate"

This image is a new digital stamp from Hambo Stamps. This one is a hoot! The turtles are adorable and coloring them was a blast. The image is available in Tim's Etsy shop. This one could be used for lots of different occasions.

The paper is an older Basic Grey paper called "cupcake." I used my Just-Rite Stamper to create the sentiment. I also used my circle and pinking circle Nestabilities.

Graduation Simplicity

I was asked to create a graduation card for the nephew of one of my co-workers. I was tired tonight, so I opted for a very simple-not much stamping-card. The paper is from the Basic Grey Lime Rickey collection. The sentiment is from Wordsworth stamps. Can you believe I made a card and DIDN'T use my Copic Markers????? Un-be-lieve-a-ble!

Just Clowning Around

Another Cool image from Hambo Stamps! This is outside my usual color palette, but it was fun to color....'cause with a clown...anything goes! It is a digi-stamp that could be used for just about anything fun and celebratory!

The paper is from the Lime Rickey collection by Basic Grey. Perfect for this image! I colored extra packages and popped them up to add dimension. The phrase was done using my Just-Rite Stamper set and cut with my Nestabilities circle and scalloped circle dies. The tabs were done using the Stampin' Up tab punch. I tried putting a red dew drop on his nose for fun, but it just didn't look quite right. Maybe his resemblence to Rudolf didn't quite work for me! I opted for putting a few on the corner instead.

Copic Colors Used:
Hair/Pants/Cuffs/Nose/Mouth: R32, R35, R37
Pants Stripes: B01, B04, B05
Top/Green: YG11, YG13, YG17

Orange: Y32, Y35, Y38
Purple: V12, V15, V17
Pink: RV10, RV13, RV14
Red: R32, R35, R37

Birthday Flowers

This card was made for my friend Kaye for her birthday. I know she loves flowers, so this was an easy choice! I used a mosaic technique for this one and split the image into squares. The stamp is an oldie from Impression Obsession and one of my favorites. This is the first time I have colored this one since my "addiction" to the copic markers! The background is a cuttlebug embossing folder (can't remember name). Ribbon from my stash and dew drops complete this elegant card.

Copic Colors Used:
Shutters: C0, C1, C3, C5, C7
Pots: E97, E99
Flowers: V12, V15, V17
Flowers: R32, R35, R37
Leaves: YG11, YG13, YG17

Good to be the King

Here is another card I made for the Hambo Stamps Design Team using the "Frog Prince" Digital stamp that is available in Tim's Etsy Shop. I didn't have a sentiment to go with it, so I made my own on the computer! I promoted him from Prince...to King. This would make a cute Father's day card don't ya think?

All of the paper and ribbon are from my stash...

Copic Colors Used:
Frog: YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97
Cape: R43, R46, R39; V12, V15, V17
Crown: Y13, Y15, Y17
