Why I Haven't Posted Much Lately!

One of my co-workers is getting married in January and as my wedding gift to them, I offered to make them a bunch of Thank You cards. Well, since I couldn't POSSIBLY do anything super simple, I had to color them with my Copic markers and do cool embossing on the papers, etc. etc.... Did I mention I was silly enough to volunteer to do 40....yes...40 cards for them?

I got swatches of their colors and used them for the background of the card. I used white satin ribbon to divide the colors and used my Swiss Dots and Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folders to give the paper some texture.

As for the cute image, I used my Copics (of course) and the swatch of sparkle across the bottom of the wedding dress and veil was my Twinkling H2O's.

Somebody please smack me next time I volunteer to do 40 of ANYTHING!

Copic Colors Used:
Flowers/Cumberbund: R37, R39
Skin/Faces: E0000, E000
Bride Hair: W7; Black 100
Groom Hair: W1, W3
Groom Bowtie/Shoes: Black 100
Tuxedo: W5, W7; Black 100

These cards are beautiful and your friend is lucky to have you. I can't imagine making 40 of the same card.

I am sure your friend LOVED these! So cute! A couple of years ago my brother got married. He asked me to make the invitations. Silly me...I said yes before the bride-to-be told me they needed 175 of those babies! Yep! I did them all - with embossing, tearing, the whole 9 yards! NEVER AGAIN! LOL The marriage better last...if not, the next bride is on her own! LOL!
