I won...I won!!!

I just won the "Best in Show" prize for my entry in the Hambo Hoedown Challenge from last week!  Woo Hoo!!!  I am dancing a jiggity-jig...or as much of a jig as I can since I had surgery a few weeks ago!  Check out the bling that was bestowed upon me for my card creation...

You can view my MAHVELOUS creation here.  Groveling accepted...(I am so humble!)  If you haven't played along this week, be sure to check out the challenge for this week.  See ya at the hoedown!

Graduation Card

My oldest niece recently graduated from high school...where does the time go????  I had seen this image by A Day for Daisies a long time ago and had it in my mind that it would be a perfect one to use for her graduation card.  I just love the swirls of the dress and her hair.  The first thing my niece pointed out was that I gave her purple eye shadow...lol  such a girlie girl!

A Magical Birthday

My youngest niece just turned 16 and this is the card I made for her.  She is a super-duper Harry Potter Fan, so I decided to use these images from Bugaboo Stamps to create this accordion style card.  Needless to say...she loved it!  She was so proud that I got the colors right on the scarves!  This one took a LONG time to color, cut and create, but it was definitely worth it!

Moher's Day Cards

These are the three Mother's Day Cards I made for my mom, my grandmother, and my sister-in-law.  The first one, which features an image from A Day for Daisies, was for my grandmother.  I thought the momma duck with her baby was so cute and decided to use that one for her card.

The next card, made for my sister-in-law features an adorable image from A Day for Daisies.  I guess maybe it might be more appropriate for a birthday card, but I just thought it reminded me of one of her daughters when they were younger...so I went with it!

The last one, also featuring images from A Day for Daisies was made for my mom.  I acutally combined the boy and girl in their jammies into one image so that it would show my brother with me!  She loved it!

Valentine's Day Cards

One of my co-worker's asked for some cards to give to their grandchildren.  These are the cards I made for them.  I used several digital stamps from Dustin Pike for the cards.  I thought they would be perfect for the cards.

Birthday Girl with Horse

I made this card for a friend's daughter for her birthday.  She loves horses and I was excited to use this digital stamp from Mo Manning.  Such a cute image.

Birthday Girls

These cards were made for a co-worker to give to family.  I used two digital images from Mo Manning.  I see myself in the first image...I used to do love blowing on the dandelions and watching them fly away.  I still do when I get the chance!

More Kraft Paper Coloring Fun

Here are a few more cards I did using my Prismacolor pencils on Kraft paper.  The first one was made as a birthday card, the second one was just for the fun of it!  Both cards feature images from Paper Smooches sets.  The first one features stamps from "Get Outta Town" and the second one uses stamps from "Nine Lives."

Boy Pilot

This card was made for a co-worker to give to a family member.  I decided that the colored pencils on kraft paper would give this a nice vintage look.  I am really proud of how my coloring turned out on this one.  It took me some getting used to since I normally color with the Copics.  This is a digital image from Mo Manning.
